Por José Aix - Portavoz de Ciudadanos en Orihuela //
Por su interés, reproducimos las declaraciones de José Aix, portavoz municipal de la formación política Ciudadanos (C,s) con tres concejales de los 25 del pleno, actualmente en la oposición, sobre la convocatoria y desconvocatoria de las reuniones de las juntas de distrito X y XI de la costa.
Dice el texto difundido en RR.SS:
«Un «deber inexcusable» se refiere a una obligación legal o personal cuyo incumplimiento puede generar una responsabilidad civil, penal o administrativa. En esencia, es un deber que no puede ser evitado o evadido.
Un deber inexcusable es el argumento esgrimido por Manuel Mestre para aplazar las reuniones de las juntas de distrito X y XI (las de la costa) que él mismo, como presidente, había convocado.
Si hubiera en el portavoz de VOX Orihuela planificación, seriedad y rigor, se habría dado cuenta antes de firmar la convocatoria de que esta fecha no era opción para celebrarse esta reunión; si sintiera respeto por los vecinos de la costa, habría reconocido su error con sinceridad y naturalidad, y les habría contado que quiere estar en la procesión de su pedanía.
Mestre, que quede claro, no tiene un Pleno, una cita en un juzgado o con un notario, que, ya sean públicos o privados, sí encajarían en el concepto de deber inexcusable. Mestre tiene una procesión.»

MESTRE’S INEXCUSABLE DUTIES (A procession)
For its interest, we reproduce the statements of José Aix, municipal spokesman of the political formation Ciudadanos (C,s) with three councillors of the 25 in the plenary, currently in opposition, on the convening and unconvening of the meetings of the X and XI district boards of the coast.
«An «inexcusable duty» refers to a legal or personal obligation whose non-fulfilment may generate civil, criminal or administrative liability. In essence, it is a duty that cannot be avoided or evaded.
An inexcusable duty is the argument put forward by Manuel Mestre for postponing the meetings of the X and XI district councils (those of the coast) which he himself, as president, had called.
If the VOX Orihuela spokesman had any planning, seriousness and rigour, he would have realised before signing the call that this date was not an option for this meeting; if he felt respect for the residents of the coast, he would have recognised his mistake with sincerity and naturalness, and would have told them that he wanted to be in the procession of his district.
Mestre, let it be clear, does not have a plenary session, an appointment in a court of law or with a notary, which, whether public or private, would fit into the concept of inexcusable duty. Mestre has a procession.»
