Un folleto elaborado conjuntamente por la Concejalía de Turismo y Orihuela Cultural, agrupa en un solo documento, todos los actos, procesiones y actividades culturales que se celebran en la Semana Santa de Orihuela. El ayuntamiento de la ciudad se ha marcado como objetivo facilitar el acceso a la información y enriquecer la experiencia de quienes visitan Orihuela en unas fechas tan especiales, declaradas de Interés Turístico Internacional.

Según el ayuntamiento la iniciativa responde “a la creciente demanda de visitantes durante estas fechas, ofreciendo un recurso útil, claro y accesible que les permita organizar su estancia para no perderse nada de lo que ofrece la ciudad”.
Toda la Semana Santa en un solo documento
El folleto recoge el programa completo de procesiones y traslados, detallando los horarios y recorridos de cada una de ellas, así como los actos organizados por las distintas cofradías. También incluye los eventos paralelos que tienen lugar durante la semana, como conciertos, actividades culturales y rutas turísticas.
También se informa de los horarios especiales de los museos de la ciudad, adaptados para que turistas y residentes puedan visitar el rico patrimonio histórico y artístico de Orihuela durante la Semana Santa.
¿Donde se puede encontrar ?
El folleto se puede recoger de forma gratuita en varios puntos de la ciudad y la costa: las oficinas de turismo situadas en la Glorieta, la estación de Renfe y el Centro Comercial La Zenia, así como en el Ayuntamiento de Orihuela y su sede en Orihuela Costa. También estará disponible en todos los museos.
Con esta primera edición, el Ayuntamiento da un paso más en su compromiso por ofrecer información turística de calidad, reforzando la proyección de Orihuela como destino de referencia durante la Semana Santa.
¿Como llegar a Orihuela desde Orihuela Costa y pedanías ?
Desgraciadamente, en ausencia de transporte publico urbano, la única manera de acceder desde la costa o las pedanías de Orihuela es mediante transporte privado o en taxi,uber o similar.

A brochure produced jointly by the Department of Tourism and Orihuela Cultural, brings together in a single document, all the events, processions and cultural activities that take place during Holy Week in Orihuela. The city council has set itself the objective of facilitating access to information and enriching the experience of those who visit Orihuela on these special dates, declared to be of International Tourist Interest.
According to the council the initiative responds ‘to the growing demand from visitors during these dates, offering a useful, clear and accessible resource that allows them to organise their stay so as not to miss out on anything the city has to offer’.
All of Easter Week in a single document
The leaflet includes the complete programme of processions and transfers, detailing the times and routes of each one, as well as the events organised by the different brotherhoods. It also includes the parallel events taking place during the week, such as concerts, cultural activities and tourist routes. It also provides information on the special opening hours of the city’s museums, adapted so that tourists and residents can visit Orihuela’s rich historical and artistic heritage during Holy Week.
Where can it be found?
The brochure can be picked up free of charge at various points in the city and on the coast: the tourist offices located in the Glorieta, the Renfe train station and La Zenia Shopping Centre, as well as at Orihuela Town Hall and its headquarters in Orihuela Costa. It will also be available in all the museums.
With this first edition, the Town Hall takes another step forward in its commitment to offer quality tourist information, reinforcing the projection of Orihuela as a reference destination during Easter Week.
How to get to Orihuela from Orihuela Costa and the surrounding areas?
Unfortunately, in the absence of urban public transport, the only way to get to Orihuela from the coast or the pedanias of Orihuela is by private transport or by taxi, uber or similar.
