El concejal de la costa, Manuel Mestre (VOX) achaca el mal estado de los viales de la costa a las lluvias de marzo y abril, según manifiesta en una nota de prensa emitida por el ayuntamiento de Orihuela. Al mismo tiempo, anuncia un plan urgente para reparar los viales afectados que ha llevado a la apertura de un expediente de emergencia para atender “de forma rápida y segura los numerosos problemas detectados en la red viaria municipal” sin ofrecer más detalles.

Dice la nota que “durante los últimos meses, las inclemencias meteorológicas han tenido un impacto negativo en las infraestructuras de la zona”, en tanto el concejal manifiesta que “las últimas lluvias del mes de marzo y abril deterioraron enormemente los viales”.

“Algunos de los viales presentan una peligrosidad considerables», reconoce el edil de la costa.

El expediente se abrió a finales de marzo y “se ha diseñado para garantizar unos viales seguros”. En este sentido, Manuel Mestre puntualiza la urgencia de la intervención, “algunos de ellos presentan una peligrosidad considerable, lo que nos ha obligado a actuar de manera urgente”.

La medida se enmarca en la modalidad de obras de emergencia, y estas se realizaran durante los próximos dos meses. “además de resolver el deterioro de la red viaria, la acción de emergencia tiene como finalidad mitigar los riesgos de accidentes, mejorar la movilidad y preservar la cohesión territorial de Orihuela Costa. Los baches, blandones y socavones detectados en la calzada representan un riesgo no solo para el tráfico de vehículos sino también para los peatones”, reconocen desde el ayuntamiento.

The measure comes under the heading of emergency works, and these will be carried out over the next two months. «As well as resolving the deterioration of the road network, the emergency action aims to mitigate the risks of accidents, improve mobility and preserve the territorial cohesion of Orihuela Costa.
