PSOE y Cambiemos de Orihuela quieren que el concejal de educación, Vicente Pina, se explique en el pleno y solicita a la mayoría del Partido Popular y VOX que no impida la comparecencia. – PSOE and Cambiemos de Orihuela want the Councillor for Education, Vicente Pina, to explain at next Thursday’s plenary session and ask the majority of the Partido Popular and Vox not to prevent the appearance.

La oposición de Orihuela en bloque exige la comparecencia del Concejal de Educación en el próximo pleno para aclarar el caos en la apertura del Colegio No 20 en Orihuela. Para ello, sus grupos municipales han solicitado formalmente la comparecencia del Concejal de Educación, Vicente Pina López, ante el Pleno del Ayuntamiento de Orihuela del próximo jueves día 27 de marzo.

Para los socialistas, el Concejal de Educación del Partido Popular tiene que ofrecer explicaciones sobre “la desastrosa gestión de la apertura del Colegio No 20 en Orihuela Costa. Este centro educativo, que se presentó como una solución a la saturación escolar en la zona, ha terminado siendo un ejemplo claro de improvisación, desorganización y falta de transparencia por parte del Gobierno local y la Consellería de Educación”.

María Garcia (PSOE): «La falta de planificación, transparencia y responsabilidad no puede quedar impune”.

La concejala del PSOE, Maria García, que tuvo a su cargo la cartera de Educación en parte de la pasada legislatura asegura que “Lo que se suponía iba a ser una solución a la saturación educativa en Orihuela Costa se ha convertido en una auténtica pesadilla para las familias. El Concejal de Educación debe comparecer ante el Pleno y dar una respuesta clara sobre las razones que han llevado a esta situación tan caótica. La falta de planificación, transparencia y responsabilidad no puede quedar impune”.

Para la oposición el comportamiento de la gobierno municipal del PP-VOX “refleja una grave falta de empatía y responsabilidad , lo que ha provocado un creciente malestar en la ciudadanía. La falta de transparencia y la ausencia de respuestas claras no solo incrementan la desconfianza, sino que también afectan directamente al bienestar de los estudiantes y sus familias, quienes son los principales afectados por esta gestión deficiente”.Los socialistas se preguntan si la mayoría del PP-VOX permitirá que el concejal de educación de explicaciones o callarán como llevan haciendo desde que abrió el colegio.

PSOE and Cambiemos Orihuela demand the appearance of the Councillor for Education at the next plenary session to clarify the chaos in the opening of School No 20 in Orihuela. This school, which was presented as a solution to the saturation of schools in the area, has ended up being a clear example of improvisation, disorganisation and lack of transparency on the part of the local government and the Consellería de Educación’.

The PSOE councillor, Maria Garcia, who was in charge of Education for part of the last legislature says that ‘What was supposed to be a solution to the educational saturation in Orihuela Costa has turned into a real nightmare for families. The Councillor for Education must appear before the Plenary and give a clear answer as to the reasons which have led to this chaotic situation. The lack of planning, transparency and accountability cannot go unpunished’.

For the opposition, the behaviour of the PP-VOX municipal government ‘reflects a serious lack of empathy and responsibility, which has led to a growing unease among citizens. The lack of transparency and the absence of clear answers not only increases distrust, but also directly affects the welfare of students and their families, who are the main ones affected by this poor management’.

The socialists wonder if the PP-VOX majority will allow the councillor for education to give explanations or will they remain silent as they have been doing since the school opened.
