Representantes de Unidos por la Costa y Unidos Mejoramos van a aprovechar el turno de preguntas del próximo pleno municipal para hacer cuatro preguntas al Gobierno Municipal sobre diversas cuestiones de actualidad. Las cuatro preguntas – que no son fruto de la colaboración entre dos grupos ya que mantienen una organización diferenciada – versan sobre el contrato de viales en Orihuela Costa, la construcción de un Centro Cultural en la zona, el organigrama de los concejales y su relación de colaboración con los asesores recién nombrados, o la retribución de determinados cargos cubiertos por funcionarios municipales.

Unidos por la Costa pregunta por el organigrama municipal tras el nombramiento de los coordinares de área. En concreto, a qué concejal y sobre qué cuestiones asesora cada uno de ellos y sobre el polémico contrato de mantenimiento de viales y espacios públicos de Orihuela Costa. Por su parte, las cuestiones de Unidos Mejoramos – antes PIOC – serán sobre la construcción del prometido Centro Cultural en Orihuela Costa y las retribuciones de determinados cargos cuyas funciones las desarrolla personal funcionario.

Las preguntas serán presentadas por Tomás Moreno y Elíseo Sastre, presidente y vicepresidente de Unidos por la Costa, asociación de vecinos que agrupa a 1.000 vecinos residentes en la zona y Román Jimenez y Ramón Fusté, presidente de PIOC y candidato de este partido , que siendo el más votado en los colegios electorales del Orihuela Costa no obtuvo representación municipal al no llegar al 5% de los votos emitidos en todo el termino municipal de Orihuela.

Las preguntas ocuparan la primera parte de la sesión, entre las nueve y las diez de la mañana del jueves, como parte de la posibilidad que ofrece la Ley de Régimen Local para preguntar a los concejales del consistorio. En el caso de Orihuela estas preguntas deben ser presentadas por escrito mediante registro con antelación para que , bien el propio interesado si esta presente y lo desea, bien la Concejal de Participación Ciudadana lea la pregunta que siempre debe ir dirigida a un edil determinado al alcalde.

Orihuela Costa asks questions in Orihuela Plenary Session

Representatives of Unidos por la Costa and Unidos Mejoramos are going to take advantage of question time at the next municipal plenary session to ask four questions to the Municipal Government on various current issues. The four questions – which are not the result of collaboration between two groups which maintain a distinct organisation – deal with the contract for roads in Orihuela Costa, the construction of a Cultural Centre in the area, the organisation chart of the councillors and their relationship of collaboration with the recently appointed advisors, or the remuneration of certain positions covered by municipal officials.

Unidos por la Costa asks about the municipal organisation chart after the appointment of area coordinators, to which councillor and on what issues each advisor advises, and about the contract for maintenance of roads and public spaces in Orihuela Costa. For their part, the questions from Unidos Mejoramos – formerly PIOC – will be about the construction of the proposed Cultural Centre in Orihuela Costa and the salaries of certain positions whose functions are carried out by civil servants.

The questions will be presented by Tomás Moreno and Elíseo Sastre, president and vice-president of Unidos por la Costa, a residents’ association which brings together 1,000 residents in the area, and Román Jimenez and Ramón Fusté, president of PIOC and candidate of this party, which was the most voted for in the polling stations of Orihuela Costa and did not obtain municipal representation as it did not reach 5% of the votes cast in the entire municipality of Orihuela.

The questions will occupy the first part of the session, between nine and ten o’clock on Thursday morning, as part of the possibility offered by the Local Regime Law to ask questions to the councillors of the consistory. In the case of Orihuela these questions must be submitted in writing by registration in advance so that either the interested party, if present and willing, or the Councillor for Citizen Participation can read the question which must always be addressed to a specific councillor or to the Mayor.
