En un video grabado por él mismo que ha distribuido por las redes sociales, el presidente de la urbanización afectada por el incendio en Las Ramblas de Oleza, Las Ramblas Golf Club, ha ironizado sobre el ofrecimiento que hizo el alcalde Vegara para que los 50 vecinos desalojados pudieran pasar la noche en el Centro Deportivo Municipal. “No digo que el alcalde mienta, pero la verdad es que nos enteramos del ofrecimiento por el video del alcalde»

El presidente de una urbanización donde residen fundamentalmente británicos y europeos se muestra “muy molesto porque aparentemente el alcalde ha venido y nos ha ofrecido dormir en el CDM a las 50 personas que evacuaron, pero la primera vez que nos enteramos de esto fue cuando vimos el video del alcalde. No estoy llamando mentiroso al alcalde , pero hemos sido 50 las personas afectadas y estamos muy sorprendidos con lo que están diciendo. Yo pude alojarme en casa de unos amigos en Campoamor, pero el resto de los evacuados volvieron a las 23:30 a sus casas con un olor insoportable”.

Retraso de los bomberos y la amabilidad de la policía. El presidente de Las Ramblas Golf espera reunirse con el alcalde para solicitar un correcto mantenimiento de la zona.

Agradece la amabilidad de los policías locales que intentaron ayudar y se alegra de que nadie sufriera daños personales a pesar de la experiencia traumática, pero asegura que es el segundo incendio en la zona en menos de un año debido al abandono de la zona, “los pinos están secos y nadie los esta cuidando. El problema – nos dicen – es que el barranco está protegido, pero nadie hace nada”.
