El próximo domingo, 4 de abril, de 8:45 a 12:30 una prueba deportiva valedera para el campeonato de España de triatlón olímpico se celebrara con salida y meta en la playa de la Glea de Campoamor. La prueba de bicicleta afectara a las calles de la Dehesa de Campoamor , la de pie (carrera) a la conexión peatonal entre La Glea y el Paseo de Aguamariana y la de natación se celebrara con salida y meta en la misma playa de La Glea.

Tal y como se puede ver en los mapas facilitados por la organización, el punto de encuentro entre las distintas pruebas estara situado en la rotonda de la Playa de la Glea, donde estará la salida a las 10:00 horas para la prueba masculina y a las 10:05 para la femenina, si bien todo el despliegue organizativo se instalara desde primera hora de la mañana. Es previsible que la prueba finalice con la ceremonia de premios entre las 12:00 y las 12:30, aunque las instalaciones no se desmontaran hasta un tiempo después.
La espectacularidad de la prueba y la posibilidad que tienen los vecinos de Orihuela Costa de seguirla en directo no quita para que aquellos que necesiten desplazarse por la zona o quieran acudir a presenciar la prueba prevean entrada y salida o lugares de aparcamiento alternativo en la zona.

Next Sunday, 4th April, from 8:45 to 12:30 a sporting event valid for the Spanish Olympic Triathlon Championship will be held with start and finish at the beach of La Glea de Campoamor. As can be seen on the maps provided by the organisers, the meeting point between the different races will be located at the roundabout on La Glea Beach, where the start will be at 10:00 for the men’s race and at 10:05 for the women’s race, although the whole organisational set-up will be in place from first thing in the morning. The race is expected to finish with the prize-giving ceremony between 12:00 and 12:30, although the facilities will not be dismantled until some time later.
The spectacular nature of the race and the possibility for the residents of Orihuela Costa to follow it live does not detract from the fact that those who need to travel through the area or who want to attend the race should plan for entry and exit or alternative parking places in the area.nant.
