A pregunta de Unidos por la Costa,el alcalde popular de Orihuela, José Vegara, no quiso o no pudo concretar fecha o plazo para comparecer en las Juntas de Distrito de Orihuela Costa, que llevan meses sin reunirse a pesar de los problemas que afectan a las pedanías costeras. Por otra parte,el representante de la AA.VV acusó al concejal del área, Manuel Mestre (VOX) de no tener competencias para solucionar los problemas.

El vicepresidente de Unidos, Elíseo Sastre, “seguir esperando su comparecencia (la del alcalde) en las juntas de distrito que llevan meses sin convocarse”, interpelando al alcalde Vegara: “¿ cuando va a comparecer en la costa para explicar que es lo que esta pasando?».

El alcalde popular Vegara, visiblemente incomodo con la intervención del vecino, contesto “con respecto a mi comparecencia en la costa, donde voy bastantes veces, no se preocupe que le avisare para que tenga constancia de que he estado allí”

Asesores de Orihuela sin rostro pero con sueldo de ministro

Recientemente, el alcalde de Orihuela nombro dos asesores que cobran entre 84.000 y 100.000, según fuentes del pleno. Pues bien, en la pregunta dirigida a Vegara , Elíseo Sastre aseguró que “la asociación lleva un tiempo tratando de reunirse con el asesor de los asuntos costeros con escaso éxito. Ponerles cara. Desde luego no se dedican a contestar a las más de 50 cuestiones que hemos planteado y que han tenido respuesta”.

Tenemos asesores “sin nuevas competencias, sin concejal delegado de área, sin un delegado específicamente destinado a resolver los problemas de la costa, sin recursos, sin capacidad para cambiar nada y con un concejal de la costa sin competencias», refiriéndose al concejal de la costa , Manuel Mestre”.

«Respuesta vaga y vacía del alcalde Vegara», Unidos x la Costa cree que no comparecerá

Para unidos, la respuesta del alcalde fue tan vaga y vacía de contenido que invita a decir aquello de “pregúntame usted lo que quiera que le voy a contestar lo que me dé la gana”. Así mismo, creen que el alcalde no va a cumplir con la petición de comparecencia en las juntas de distrito.

Además de no concretar fecha de comparecencia , el alcalde contesto refiriéndose a los plazos de ejecución de proyectos y solución de problemas que “seguramente el tiempo es distinto para usted que para mi por que en la administración va mas despacio que en otros sitios” y negó haber dicho cosas o haberse comprometido a otras. “No se exactamente de donde han tomado algunas cosas que dicen he dicho yo pero no es exactamente así”, seguramente al referirse a su promesa del pleno del mes de febrero donde comprometió su visita a la costa pronto.

PIOC también pregunta por los asesores con sueldos «fuera de lugar»

Más concreta fue la pregunta de Ramón Fusté en representación de PIOC, que fue candidato por este partido en las ultimas elecciones municipales, donde fue el más votado en las pedanías de la costa, que se limito a preguntar por el sueldo y competencias de los asesores municipales calificando sus emolumentos de “estar fuera de lugar”

La respuesta de la concejala popular del área de personal fue más escueta todavía remitiéndose al Boletin Oficial de la Comunidad Autónoma en su articulo 147 del 1 de agosto de 2023 y el 117 del 19 de junio de 2024 donde se da cuenta de sueldo y competencias.

Lo cierto es que, mientras que Ramón Fuste comparo el sueldo de los asesores, entre ellos uno destinado a coordinar los asuntos de la costa, con alcaldes de grandes ciudades como Madrid o Barcelona ( ambos entre 104 y 110.000 euros) o ministros del Reino de España (por debajo de los 100.000 euros), fuentes del pleno situaron estos entre los 84.000 euros que reconoció el primer teniente de Acalde, Manuel Mestre (VOX), y los 100.000 euros que atribuyeron desde la bancada socialista.

Faceless Orihuela advisors with ministerial salaries

Recently, the Mayor of Orihuela appointed two advisors who are paid between 84,000 and 100,000, according to plenary sources. Well, in the question addressed to Vegara, Elíseo Sastre assured that ‘the association has been trying for some time to meet with the advisor for coastal affairs with little success. Mayor Vegara’s vague and empty response, they believe he will not appear on the coast

For the united group, the mayor’s response was so vague and empty of content that it is as if he were saying ‘ask me whatever you want and I will answer whatever I want’. They also believe that the mayor will not comply with the request to appear before the district councils.

In addition to not specifying a date for the appearance, the mayor replied, referring to the deadlines for the execution of projects and the solution of problems, that ‘surely the time is different for you than for me because in the administration it goes more slowly than in other places’ and denied having said things or having committed himself to others. ‘I don’t know exactly where you have taken some of the things you say I have said, but it is not exactly like that,’ he said, referring to his promise at the February plenary session where he promised to visit the coast soon.

PIOC also asks about advisors

More specific was the question of Roman Fuste, representing PIOC, who was a candidate for this party in the last municipal elections, where he was the most voted in the coastal districts, by limiting himself to asking about the salary and competences of the municipal advisors, describing them as ‘being out of place’.

The response of the councillor for personnel was even more terse, referring PIOC to the Official Gazette of the Autonomous Community in its article 147 of August 1, 2023 and 117 of June 19, 2024, where the salary and competences of the councillors are explained.
