El proceso de admisión del alumnado de los centros públicos se iniciará el próximo 5 de mayo, según ha informado el concejal de Educación del Ayuntamiento de Orihuela, Vicente Pina, en rueda de prensa. Pina ha señalado que “se iniciará con la publicación de las vacantes en Infantil y Primaria y continuará el 14 de mayo con la publicación de vacantes en ESO y Bachillerato”.

El edil de educación ha informado que la presentación de solicitudes se efectuara de forma telemática a través del portal https://portal.edu.gva.es/adminova/es/inicio/. Los periodos abiertos para la presentación de solicitudes son del 6 al 14 de mayo, para Infantil y Primaria, y del 15 al 23 de mayo para ESO y Bachillerato.

En caso de dificultades para realizar el trámite electrónico, podrán acudir al centro educativo elegido en primera opción para recibir asesoramiento. Respecto a la formalización de matrícula, Vicente Pina ha recordado que habrá dos modalidades: telemática y presencial. En Infantil y Primaria, la matrícula telemática será del 18 al 27 de junio, y la presencial del 18 de junio al 2 de julio. Para ESO, la matrícula telemática se realizará del 16 al 21 de julio, y la presencial del 16 al 22 de julio. En Bachillerato, la modalidad no presencial será del 22 al 25 de julio, y la presencial del 22 al 28 de julio”.

Desde la Concejalía de Educación “ofreceremos a las familias la información y el apoyo necesario durante este proceso”, cuyo concejal “aprovecho para resaltar la calidad educativa de todos los centros del municipio a los que tengo que felicitar por su trabajo”.

Los centros escolares de Orihuela Costa se caracterizan por su masificación, algo que ha venido a peliar el llamado Colegio número 20 al aportar 400 nuevas plazas escolares para descongestionar los dos colegios ya existentes. No obstante, en declaraciones efectuadas en sede plenaria se ha estimado que el tercer colegio puede colmar su capacidad a finales de este mismo año.

The councillor also highlighted that «the number of units in operation has increased in several schools in the municipality, such as CEIP Virgen de los Desamparados, CEIP Andrés Manjón, CEIP San Bartolomé and CEIP Virgen de Monserrate.
