La protesta comienza a las 16:30 de hoy lunes 5 de mayo ante el ayuntamiento de Orihuela Costa, media hora antes de la Junta de Distrito convocada por el vicealcalde , Manuel Mestre, y quiere llamar la atención sobre el mal estado de la costa, además de llenar el salón de plenos donde se va a celebrar el pleno a las 17:00 horas.

Las reivindicaciones de PIOC se centran en la hartura de los vecinos por las calles rotas, colección de basura en las calles, creciente inseguridad y escasa presencial policial y exige la comunidad segura, limpia y respetada que los vecinos del litoral merecen.

“Ven con nosotros y hacer oír tu voz. El alcalde y el consejero costero estarán allí . Demostremos lo que estamos viendo, que estamos unidos y hartos de ser ignorados. Es nuestro momento. Trae tus pancartas, a tus amigos y haz oir tu voz para exigir. Sé parte de la nueva Orihuela Costa que queremos”.

5th May, day of Orihuela District Council, PIOC calls for peaceful protest at the door of the town hall at 16:30

The protest starts at 16:30 today, Monday 5th May, in front of the Orihuela Costa town hall, half an hour before the District Council meeting called by Vice Mayor Mestre, and aims to draw attention to the poor state of the coast, as well as filling the plenary hall where the plenary session is to be held at 17:00.

PIOC’s demands are centred on neighbours being fed up with broken streets, litter in the streets, growing insecurity and poor police presence and demands the safe, clean and respected community that the coastal residents deserve.
